Java Plugin Installation

This installation procedure applies ONLY to Internet Explorer users !

Installation steps:

2) Click on Start AMS link. A “Security Warning” screen pops up saying: “Do you want to install and run Java Plug-in 1.3……”.

Click Yes.

3) A “Select Java Plugin Installation” screen pops up. Leave the default selections: Locale = US English, Region = USA.

Click “Install”.

4) A “Downloading…” dialog appears with a progress bar showing the status of this process. No clicks here.

5) A “License Agreement” dialog shows.

Click “Yes” (after you have read the agreement ).

6) A “ Choose Destination Location” window pops up. Choose a location where you know there is enough space (at least 15 Mb) using Browse button, or just agree with the default location.

Click “Next”.

7) At this point you will receive an installation screen for “Java 2 ™ Run Time Environment Standard Edition v 1.3.” You don’t have to click anything. Installation finishes successfully with the message “Installation complete OK”. It is possible that you will receive the following screen when installation is completed:

DO NOT let the setup restart your machine at the end of the installation procedure. You will have to restart the computer yourself after closing all the applications.

INSTALLATION IS COMPLETED AND AMS SHOULD START.
