Java Plugin Installation

This installation procedure can be used with both major browsers: Netscape and Internet Explorer.

Installation steps:

 1) Click on the “Download Plug-in” button. 

 ( ! ) For  Internet Explorer a download dialog will appear. Specify “Save this file to disk” instead of “Open this file from its current location”, see image below.

 2) Select a folder on your machine where you want to download this file . The file name is “j2re-1_3_1-win.exe”.

3) After the download is completed locate the place where you have saved this file and execute it.

( ! ) For Internet Explorer after the download is completed there is an "Open" button. If  you  click on that one the file will be executed.

4) Installation procedure will start. You’ll have to click “Yes” at the “License Agreement” screen.

5) Choose a “Destination Location” and click “Next”. Be sure that you have at least 15 Mb of free disk space on drive C.

6) Installation procedure will continue. In the end there is a message "Installation Completed OK". It is possible that you will receive the following screen when installation is completed:

DO NOT let the setup restart your machine at the end of the installation procedure. You will have to restart the computer yourself after closing all the applications. 

INSTALLATION IS COMPLETED
